etq-db-01-suede-sand-mediterranean-suede
ETQ DB 01 Suede Sand Mediterranean Suede

In Sand Mediterranean suede, the ETQ DB 01 brings a light neutral finish to the classic desert boot. Its ankle-close lacing and mid-cut shape strike a balance between the ease of a shoe and the structure of a boot, with suede that becomes softer as it is worn.

Pair it with indigo denim for contrast or stone trousers for a tonal look. When cooler days call for another layer, the defined silhouette sits naturally beneath a coat, while stitched construction allows the sole and upper to flex with the foot.

Designed in the Netherlands and crafted by hand in Portugal by ETQ’s longstanding family-run factory partner.

Mediterranean suede from LWG-certified tanneries in Italy and Spain, supple from the first outing and adapting to the foot within the first week.

A sewn connection secures the upper to the sole instead of glue, supporting flexibility with each step.

Hand-lasting and manual assembly bring together 20 to 40 components per pair, followed by two inspections before dispatch.

A removable memory foam footbed contours with use and can be swapped for a replacement or personal orthotics.

onSteam® lining carries moisture away from the foot for comfort during extended wear.

ETQ’s exclusive sole is made from the brand’s own mould in a specified rubber blend, combining give underfoot with shape retention.

Internal toe and heel reinforcement helps the boot maintain its form over time.

Tonal metal eyelets and nylon laces keep the detailing restrained. Spare laces are sold separately.

The signature ETQ square appears at the heel.

A reusable travel bag accompanies the boots. The white presentation box also acts as the shipping carton, avoiding a separate outer box.

The suede’s velvet-like texture comes from sanding the underside of the hide into a fine, closely packed nap. ETQ works with LWG Gold-certified Gruppo Mastrotto in Arzignano, Italy, and LWG-approved Sanchez Agullo in Alicante, Spain. Hides are checked for colour, surface, finish and thickness before cutting, producing an even texture and consistent colour that develops character through wear.

Maintain the suede with frequent brushing along the nap using a suede brush. Treat with a water-and-stain protector before the first wear and renew protection after cleaning. If wet, leave the boots to air-dry naturally before gently brushing to revive the nap.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0736/8386/1687/files/DB01SuedeSandModel_08Angel-3_1080x-20261014-153031.jpg?v=1791988261
