The ETQ DB 01 in Desert Taupe offers an understated approach to cooler-day footwear. Mediterranean suede lends a fine, velvet-like texture to its mid-cut profile, with lacing that sits close to the ankle for a defined yet easy-going silhouette.

Choose light chinos for a tonal combination or contrast the neutral shade with dark denim and a coat. The suede softens with wear, while a stitched connection between upper and sole lets the boot move with the foot.

The suede is formed from the underside of the hide, sanded to produce a short, dense and even nap. ETQ’s tanning partners include LWG Gold-certified Gruppo Mastrotto in Arzignano, Italy, and LWG-approved Sanchez Agullo in Alicante, Spain. Every hide undergoes checks for finish, colour, surface and thickness before cutting, creating a consistent texture and depth of colour that gains character with time.

Care for the suede by brushing frequently in the direction of the nap with a suede brush. Apply a water-and-stain protector before wearing and reapply after cleaning. If wet, allow the boots to dry naturally before brushing gently to restore the surface texture.
