ETQ DS 03 Suede All Chocolate Mediterranean Suede

Rich Chocolate colour and a fine suede texture give the ETQ DS 03 a relaxed interpretation of the classic boat shoe. The low-cut shape and moccasin stitching retain its seafaring character, complemented by a sole created exclusively by ETQ.

A considered companion for warm-weather dressing, it pairs naturally with light chinos or relaxed linen trousers, taking you from an easy afternoon into the evening.

• Designed in the Netherlands and handmade in Portugal by a family-run factory with a longstanding ETQ partnership.
• Hand-shaped over the last and assembled from 20 to 40 individual parts, with two inspections before leaving the factory.
• Mediterranean suede sourced from LWG-certified tanneries in Italy and Spain, supple from the outset and adapting to the foot within the first week.
• Memory foam cushioning that conforms with use, housed in a removable insole that can be replaced or exchanged for personal orthotics.

The suede’s velvet-like texture comes from finely sanding the underside of the hide. Mediterranean tanning partners include LWG Gold-certified Gruppo Mastrotto in Arzignano, Italy, and LWG-approved Sanchez Agullo in Alicante, Spain. Every hide is checked for finish, shade, surface and thickness before cutting, ensuring a short, dense, consistent nap with deep colour that develops character over time.

Maintain the surface with regular suede brushing, following the direction of the nap. Use a water-and-stain protector before the first outing and renew it after cleaning. If the shoes become wet, leave them to dry naturally before brushing the nap back into place.
