The suede is made by sanding the underside of the hide to create a fine, velvet-like surface. ETQ works with Gruppo Mastrotto in Arzignano, Italy, an LWG Gold-certified tannery, and LWG-approved Sanchez Agullo in Alicante, Spain. Before cutting, every hide is assessed for finish, colour, surface consistency and thickness. A short, closely packed nap provides even colour and a texture that gains character with use.

Keep the suede looking its best by brushing regularly along the nap with a suede brush. Apply protection against water and stains before the first wear, renewing it after cleaning. Should the shoes become wet, allow them to air-dry naturally before gently brushing to revive the texture.
