ETQ SL 03 Suede Chocolate Mediterranean Suede

The ETQ SL 03 Suede Chocolate brings rich, velvety texture to a pared-back crossover sandal. Two intersecting straps hold the foot without buckles, maintaining an open upper and a low-profile shape. Lightweight enough to pack for a getaway yet structured for trips into town, it suits unhurried mornings and sunny afternoons.

Mediterranean Suede is made from the underside of the hide, sanded to create its finely textured, velvet-like surface. ETQ sources this material from Gruppo Mastrotto in Arzignano, Italy, an LWG Gold-certified tannery, and Sanchez Agullo in Alicante, Spain, an LWG-approved tannery. Before cutting, every hide is checked for finish, colour, surface and thickness. A short, dense and consistent nap gives the suede its depth of colour, with character developing through use.

Maintain the texture with regular suede brushing, following the direction of the nap. Use a water-and-stain protection spray before the first wear and reapply after cleaning. If the suede becomes wet, allow it to air-dry naturally before gently brushing to restore the nap.
